Filming in Kaka’ako Honolulu | Tango Café Featured on The American Dream TV

Hawaii Video Pro recently completed a Honolulu video production for The American Dream TV while filming at Tango Café in the vibrant neighborhood of Kaka’ako:

Recently, Hawaii Video Pro had the opportunity to film a new segment in the vibrant neighborhood of Kaka’ako in Honolulu for The American Dream TV. Known for its creative energy, ocean views, and growing collection of restaurants and local businesses, Kaka’ako continues to evolve into one of Oʻahu’s most exciting urban destinations.

This segment features Tango Café, a welcoming restaurant that has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. With its relaxed atmosphere, curated wine selection, and thoughtfully prepared menu, Tango Café reflects the unique blend of community, creativity, and culinary culture that defines the Kaka’ako neighborhood.

The episode is hosted by Nate Gaddis of Wai Pacific, who takes viewers inside the neighborhood to explore what makes this part of Honolulu so special. From the nearby coastline to the surrounding mix of modern residences, public art, and local businesses, Kaka’ako offers a lifestyle that blends urban living with the natural beauty of Hawaiʻi.

The segment also features Amy Xue, whose journey to Hawaiʻi reflects a modern version of the American Dream. After arriving in Honolulu in 2006 without speaking English, Amy built a successful career in luxury retail before transitioning into Honolulu real estate, where she now helps clients navigate opportunities ranging from affordable housing to luxury condominiums in Kaka’ako.

Filming this episode allowed our team to capture a wide variety of visuals that highlight the energy of the neighborhood, including aerial views of the Honolulu coastline, street level moments around Kaka’ako, and the welcoming atmosphere inside Tango Café.

At Hawaii Video Pro, we enjoy working on projects that tell authentic local stories and showcase the people and places that make Hawaiʻi unique. Collaborating on this episode of The American Dream TV was a great opportunity to highlight another corner of Honolulu’s evolving urban landscape.

Hawaii Video Pro is a Honolulu video production company specializing in television segments, real estate stories, and branded content across Oʻahu and the Hawaiian Islands.
