Introduction

In Honolulu, on the island of Oʻahu, there are programs shaping the next generation of skilled professionals in Hawaiʻi. One of them is the Carpentry Technology program at Honolulu Community College, where students step into a hands on learning environment that prepares them for real careers in construction.

We had the opportunity to film this program and capture what that journey looks like from the inside:

Part of the University of Hawaiʻi system, Honolulu Community College offers a strong foundation for students looking to enter the trades. The Carpentry Technology program focuses on practical skills, safety, and teamwork, giving students the tools they need to succeed in the field.

What It Feels Like on Site
